Basic E-Cig Terms and Definitions

Atomizer – The heating element that vaporizes the e-juice. The atomizer consists of a simple heating element and wicking material that absorbs the e-liquid. These are available in either low (sub-ohm) or normal resistance depending on the users preference.

Battery –  Device that powers the heating element in the atomizer. Batteries come in several different sizes and mAh. The lower the mAh, the shorter the battery life.

Clearomizer – This is a tank that holds the atomizer coil along with wicking material that draws the e-liquid from the tank into the atomizer. Available in Sub Ohm and normal resistance, clearomizers are built with a variety of materials, generally pyrex glass, stainless steel, or aluminum. All of our clearomizers have replaceable coil heads.

E-liquid – Liquid that contains varying levels of nicotine which is placed into the clearomizer or other vaping specific containers. Generally made with Vegetable Glycerin and Propelyne Glycol. Our elqiuids come in several different levels of nicotine strength and an amazing variety of flavors to suit your vaping needs.

mAh – Milliamp hours. The total amount of energy a battery can store at one time. Higher mAh batteries will last the user longer than lower mAh batteries.

Tank – Used as a general term for clearomizer or cartomizer systems.

Throat hit – the “hit” in the back of your throat vapers love so much. Eliquids with higher amounts of PG will provide a stronger throat hit while VG based ejuices generally give the user a softer hit.
